Pssst! Heavy Seas Beer's got wood.

The Heavy Seas Master of Firkins has finally released the list of what we will be serving at our Heavy Seas Real Ale & BBQ Fest on Saturday March 27!  Also new to our firkin cooperage are white oak barrels which will hold everyone’s favorite – Loose Cannon.

Loose Cannon:  Two different versions, aged in medium toast, white oak barrels.  Each barrel is from a different source. Which one do you like best?  We want to know – so be sure to tell us at the fest.

Little DIPA:  A one-of-a-kind ‘little brother’ to our seasonal Big DIPA, to which we’ve added local Cascade leaf hops and hand toasted white oak strips.  This beer is not for general release and can only be found at our brewery during the fest.

Holy Sheet:  Our Über Abbey  with additional Palisade leaf hops and American white oak cubes (medium toast)

Heavy Seas Pale Ale:  With added local Cascade leaf hops and hand toasted white oak strips.

Big DIPA:  Double IPA  and nothing but double IPA.

Siren Noire: Imperial Chocolate Stout with added chocolate, Mt Hood pellet hops and hand toasted white oak strips.

Peg Leg: Imperial Stout with local Cascade leaf hops and hand toasted French oak cubes.

But we didn’t stop there!

Heavy Seas Märzen: With Spalt pellet and Palisade leaf hops along with hand toasted pine strips.

Small Craft Warning: Our Über Pils  with rose hips, ginger, organic apricots plus local Cascade leaf hops and hand toasted Birch strips.
