Peg Leg Stout BBQ Sauce

An easy homemade BBQ sauce recipe using an imperial stout beer!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Peg Leg Imperial Stout
- 1 and 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp any type of BBQ rub

 

Directions: 
Mix all ingredients into a sauce pan. (Cooking Tip: Pour the beer into the sauce pan first before adding the rest of the ingredients in no particular order. Pour beer lightly as it can foam up pretty easily.)

Whisk ingredients well to create a smooth sauce. Bring sauce to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 min. Stir often.
