Chocolate VolcanoBorn in our 15bbl brewhouse in 2020, Chocolate Volcano is the newest year round offering. This full-bodied imperial stout pours an opaque, deep mahogany color with a fluffy tan head. The nose is dominated by intense chocolate and hints of roasted coffee beans.
Chocolate Volcano blasts your tongue with a lava flow of velvety richness. Brewed with imported cocoa powder and cocoa nibs and overflowing with decadent chocolate flavor, you better take cover, Chocolate Volcano erupts all year. UK Fuggles, Target and Goldings dominate the nose and flavor of this classic British inspired beer. Brass in color, Powder Monkey, like all of our beers, is well balanced: distinct bitterness and a slight malt sweetness characterize the taste. A chewy English yeast strain gives this beer it’s characteristic charm.

Blackbeard's BreakfastBlackbeard’s Breakfast is our take on an imperial porter—just add coffee and bourbon. We use Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company’s Dark Sumartra coffee to give this beer it’s sumptuous coffee flavor. Bourbon barrels kick this beer up a notch, leaving flavors of caramel and roasty malt.
