We’ll be joined by 15 other Maryland/regional breweries for this all-you-can-sample tasting experience!

And be amongst the first to try our special, limited release, 30th Anniversary Beer - 30 Year Storm, a barrel aged strong ale thundering in at 11.5% ABV, aged in a trifecta of bourbon, rye and sherry barrels.

THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT - NO ENTRY WITHOUT A TICKET! Our Taproom will open to the public at 4pm.

When is the event? Saturday, December 6th, 2025, 12-4 PM

Where is the event? Heavy Seas Beer - 4615 Hollins Ferry Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227

Who’s putting this on? Heavy Seas Beer in partnership with The Brewers Association of Maryland (BAM).
  

Do I have to have a ticket to attend? Yes - this is a ticketed event! Our Taproom will be closed to the public for the duration of the Beer Festival (12PM - 4PM), and will open to the public at 4PM.

Do I need to print out my ticket? No! Once tickets have been purchased, you will receive an email confirmation and your name will be added to our event will-call list. Upon arrival, please enter our Taproom, give us your name + present ID - and you’ll be all set!

Will tickets be available at the door? This will be dependent on ticket availability. We do expect this event to sell out, and highly recommend pre-purchasing tickets in advance.

Do I need to bring my ID? Yes, all guests attending the event will need to show a valid ID at check-in. No ID, no entry. This is a 21+ event.

Ticket Transfers - Should you need to transfer your ticket, please email at events@hsbeer.com to notify us of the change 24 hours prior to the event.    

How do tastings work? All VIP and GA ticket holders will receive their 5oz tasting glass at check-in. VIP ticket holders will also receive their lanyard at check-in and their commemorative poster when exiting. Don’t forget to pick up your poster as you leave — it’s a keepsake you won’t want to forget!

During the designated hours of the event (12pm - 4pm), unlimited samples will be available from all attending breweries, plus sample pours of all 20 Heavy Seas beers available on draft in the Heavy Seas Taproom. 

Designated Drivers will be able to get unlimited full pours of Dominion Soda products in the Heavy Seas Taproom.

Water will be available for all guests.

Will full pours be available? Not during the Beer Festival, which will be a sampling experience only! We’ll start selling full pours once our Taproom opens to the public at 4pm. 

Can I leave and come back? Yes, you can leave and come back. Please ensure that your tasting glass is empty prior to your exit. 

Where should I park? We strongly encourage guests to utilize ride sharing apps such as Lyft/Uber OR carpooling if attending this event. Should you choose to drive, we will have limited parking available onsite at the Heavy Seas Taproom, along with parking at our neighboring business Caitec and Poole & Kent. There will be signs & staff to assist with parking. All parking spots are first come, first serve.

Is this event accessible? Yes, we have a ramp and bathrooms available to those with mobility needs. 

Will there be food? Thanks to our partnership with Kooper’s Tavern, there will be food available for purchase from their Chow Hound & Pit Stop trucks. Outside food is not permitted.  

Can I purchase To-Go beer? Absolutely! All available Heavy Seas packaged beer will be located in our Taproom and can be purchased at the bar. Your to-go beer cannot be consumed on the premises, this includes our parking lot and the parking lots of our neighboring businesses.     

Is this event kid-friendly? No. All events on Saturday, Dec. 6th (Beer Festival & Anniversary Party) from 12-10 PM will be 21+ only. The Taproom will open again to all members of the public on Sunday, December 7th.  

Can I bring my dog? No, there will be a No Dogs policy (aside from certified Service Animals) during all events on Saturday, Dec. 6th (Beer Festival & Anniversary Party) from 12-10 PM. Dogs will be welcome  again in the Taproom on Sunday, December 7th. 

What is the bathroom situation? There will be bathrooms available inside the Taproom room along with portable restrooms outside.
