2025 is a huge year for Heavy Seas Beer, Maryland’s largest and original craft brewer! Not only are we celebrating 30 years as a company, but we’re also celebrating the 20th Anniversary of our flagship, Loose Cannon IPA — a beer that’s become legendary in the craft beer scene and a staple in the hands of craft beer lovers across Maryland and beyond.
Packed with citrusy hops, a juicy malt backbone, and a punch of attitude, our Loose Cannon IPA refuses to blend into the background.
It’s won over hop-heads for 2 decades and it’s still going strong! (Fun Fact: Loose Cannon won Best IPA in the 2024 United States Beer Tasting Championship!) Whether you’ve been drinking Loose Cannon since the beginning or you’re just discovering it now, this is the perfect time to raise a pint!

Wednesday, July 23 — Heavy Seas Themed Trivia w/ M.R. Pub Games
7–9 PM
Test your knowledge on all things pirates, beer, Baltimore history, Heavy Seas lore & more. Hosted by M.R. Pub Games, there will be prizes — and bragging rights — on the line. No ticketed required, just show up!
Thursday, July 24 — Customer Appreciation Day

We couldn’t be here without our fans — so this party is all about YOU! No ticketed required, just show up!

A Loose Cannon cask takeover like no other. We’re tapping 4 different firkins of Loose Cannon IPA, each infused with different hops or unique ingredients. Come sample ‘em all! No ticketed required, just show up!

The Heavy C’s - with Columbus, Calypso, Cashmere, Citra, Centennial, Chinook & Cascade
The Hop Cubed - tripled dry-hopped with recipe hops (Simcoe, Warrior, Centennial, Cascade)
The “Mosaic” Cannon - with extra Mosaic hops
The Peachy Keen - with peach flavored hop botanicals
AND… we just might have one secret firkin tapped — but you’ll have to come to the event to find out what it is!
Saturday, July 26 — Flash Tattoo Pop Up (w/ The Baltimore Tattoo Museum) + Live Music featuring “The Loose Cannons”

Flash Tattoo Pop Up (12pm - 4pm) — get inked by artists from the Baltimore Tattoo Museum, offering exclusive flash sheets that are beer & Heavy Seas-inspired! Limited spots will be available for sign up. Details coming soon!
